You are possibly wondering how this website differs to all the informative travel review sites and travel blogs that already exist. Rather than just tell you what we liked about a place, we instead want to help you work out where you should book for your next trip. Providing travel inspiration to help with this first step of the decision process.
Everyone is different, with individual interests, hobbies and travel budgets. Because of this, a one size fits all approach does not work for travel. Therefore it should not be assumed that everyone’s ‘top 5 must see places’ should be the same.
Destination Itineraries
Global Sightseer will make planning the itinerary for your next holiday vacation easier. At a glance, you will see a diverse list of things to do, interesting places to visit and reasons to go to a particular destination.
Global Sightseer outlines destinations and attractions which ‘go beyond the obvious’. This includes mainstream destinations such as Portugal and Singapore. You will find suggestions of places to visit in these destinations which will get you away from the crowded streets and ‘touristy’ areas. There also are more overlooked destinations, for example, South Korea and Lithuania. Places which are not necessarily on the mainstream lists of travel destinations.
The reasons to visit a destination are outlined in our destination guides as a clear overview. These are grouped into categories with brief descriptions, highlighting a particular feature which may be of interest. To act as a signpost to guide you to further information, there are links to the actual website for each attraction and other useful websites. This is to make it easier for you to find the most up to date information.
We hope that you find this website a useful tool for the first stages of your travel planning. We aim to help you get started with planning your next holiday vacation. Using the combination of travel inspiration from the Global Sightseer blog and itinerary ideas from our destination overviews.
